Under the leadership of the classically trained Deepak Kumar (a member of the British Culinary Federation) , the Valley Restaurant at the Pilgrim has evolved into one of the finest in the County. The team use largely local produce to develop their menus and the growing numbers of regular clients are testament to their success.
Sylvia Chilman, our morning chef, produces wonderful Herefordshire Breakfasts and then cooks our fresh desserts and puddings as well as her renowned shortbread biscuits. We also make our own sauces, chutneys and wholemeal bread rolls.
In the evenings you can choose to eat from our Bar Meals menu or indulge yourself in the a la Carte option, with its individually created dishes. Vegetarian and Gluten Free diets are well catered for at our Herefordshire Restaurant with stunning views!

There is always a choice of "Daily & Weekly Specials", for both food and drink, giving even more options. Our local produce includes eggs, cheeses, vegetables, meat, poultry, beer, cider, brandy, crisps and other seasonal items, all with the lowest "food miles" possible. We can also happy to cater for private dining and celebration meals, when menus can be tailored to your individual requirements.
