Two new walks for Autumn 2010 Guided Walking Weekends 5th/6th/7th & 19th/20th/21st November Come and spend a weekend in our cosy Country House Hotel in the heart of the Wye Valley. It’s the perfect venue for a walking break house party, and a great way to meet new friends and to explore the glorious countryside on the doorstep of the hotel. This time of year is magical as the leaves are turning to Autumn hues. Walking is acknowledged as a fantastic way reduce the risk of heart problems and osteoporosis as well as a great way to relieve stress and recharge your batteries. Church Farm The weekend will begin on Friday night with a welcome drink, a light buffet and the chance to meet your fellow walkers. On Saturday, after a hearty English Breakfast we will set off on an all day loopwalk with plenty of opportunities for refreshment breaks and a picnic lunch. The walk will be around 10 to 12 miles and last approximately 6 hours. [A shorter option has also been arranged] On Sunday morning after breakfast the group will set out from the hotel on a half day walk of approximately5 to 6 miles taking in several churches and offering great views of the Wye Valley. Both walks will start and finish at the hotel and will be new walks for the autumn season. On returning to the hotel, those who are leaving us can collect their bags and check-out, those remaining for an extra night have the option of taking Sunday lunch at the hotel, followed by a leisurely afternoon of exploring the area, or for the more energetic we have additional self guided walks available.
