Walkers are well catered for, with the Herefordshire Trail passing a few feet from our front door and the Wye Valley Walk itself only 3 miles away. Anglers of all kinds are spoilt for choice on the Rivers and lakes of Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Monmouthshire. Although with the magnificent views and first class food and drink available here you may not want to stray for too long.
For those seeking culture and sights the area abounds with opportunities. The world famous "Mappa Mundi" [above left] can be viewed in the Cathedral and Symonds Yat, Goodrich Castle, Kilpeck Norman Church, the magnificent Tintern Abbey and countless other possibilities are close by. The Brecon Beacons, Forest of Dean, Malvern Hills and the Black & White village trail are also within easy striking distance for guests. There is a choice of Cider Museums, a bird of prey centre, canoeing and absailing all available nearby. Finally, one of the areas biggest shopping hotspots, Labels Outlet, is just 8 miles away in Ross on Wye.
