Salmon Fishing Breaks on the River Wye

It is hard to think of a more comfortable or better placed Hotel for access to the famous River Wye than the Pilgrm Country Hotel. The closest beat on the Middle Wye is 10 minutes away and no fewer than 6 others are inside 25 minutes driving .

The first Salmon of the 2008 season was taken 10 minutes away from the Hotel on the famous Caradoc beat, where day rods can be bought for around £40. Other prices vary, but most will cost less than £50 per day and some include the services of an experienced ghillie.

The Hotel is a fine place to stay if you intend to use the " Wye and Usk Passport" as the basis of your fishing programme, as we are centrally situated in between both Rivers.
